Sole-authored book critically questioning the dominant discourse of technology integration in education. It proposes a sociocultural approach to literacies rooted in digital culture and a transmedia learning model combining cultural, narrative-playful, and technological dimensions.
Transmedia Learning for Preverbal Children with Autism (2020)
Sole authored book. This book proposes a transmedia learning design for preverbal autistic children, integrating neurodiversity, disability studies, ethics of care, media literacy, and educational technology. It explores how mobile devices, multimodal communication, and popular media interests can support participation, learning, and self-expression beyond spoken language. The approach advocates for inclusive, interest-based, ubiquitous, and experiential learning grounded in autistic children’s rights, needs, and potential.

My first sole-authored book explores digital storytelling and the creative possibilities of interactive media. Published in 2013, it was originally released in a hypermedia format and later made available for Kindle. It is now accessible through the Tecnológico de Monterrey institutional repository.
Mujeres de la comunicación, México (2022)
Book chapter on researching autism as the mother of an autistic person, published as part of Mujeres de la Comunicación. This transnational Latin American project brings together women’s biographies, interviews, and reflections, fostering peer recognition and highlighting their personal and academic contributions to the field.
